Summer '08

Barry and the band are doing plenty of Carolina dates this summer. In June, the guys perform at The Carolina Entertainment Complex in Marion, SC for a 3 day festival June 12th, 13th and 14th. Thursday, June 12th sees Barry and the boys opening the Gretchen Wilson / Trent Tomlinson show, Friday the 13th opening the Hank Williams Jr / Lynyrd Skynyrd show and Saturday opening for Sugarland. This promises to be a special event so dont miss it. Tickets are on sale at the box office or at www.entertaincarolina.com

Guitarist Dickie Fredericks recently formed a partnership with Deering Valve Amplification (www.deeringamps.com) and will use his Signature "Dickie Fredericks Model" DVA Ninety for future shows and recordings. " Tom and I discussed some mods to the current DVA Ninety", he says. "Tom took the ideas and ran with them. Its a great amp and the tone is to die for. Really quality stuff".

Dickie is also working with OceanEFX (www.oceanefx.com) and is using their pedals on his pedal board. " I'm using the Bullet Boost and the Vintage Echo, they sound really good and are an important part of the live sound", he says.
